Sarah Hackenbracht
Director ofWorkforce Development & Public Policy
Sarah Hackenbracht serves as GDAHA’s Director of Workforce Development & Public Policy. Sarah is responsible for developing and implementing the Association’s workforce development strategic plan to meet the needs of the region’s hospitals in conjunction with GDAHA’s regional workforce development partners. She also collaborates with the President & CEO as an advocate for the Association’s members on local, state and federal public policy issues impacting the region’s healthcare system. Additionally, Sarah is engaged in key domestic preparedness activities for the Dayton region.
Prior to joining the GDAHA team, Sarah was the Sr. Manager of Public Policy for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce. In her role at the Chamber, Sarah was the senior staff leadership for the Dayton/Miami Valley Safety Council and represented the business community on small business, health and safety issues.
Sarah is a graduate of Wright State University with a B.A. in Political Science and is completing her M.A. in International Relations/Comparative Politics. Although she is not originally from Ohio, Sarah is committed to the success of the Dayton region and spends a significant amount of her time in the community due to her volunteer activities with the Dayton Sister Cities Commission and the Junior League of Dayton.
