Bryan Beer
Senior Director of Health Information Technology
Bryan Beer is GDAHA's Senior Director of Health Information Technology and has been with the association since December 2004. Bryan's primary responsibility involves the coordination of the Regional Extension Center – a program helping physicians achieve meaningful use. In addition, Bryan’s other projects include the Utilization and Ancillary Reports, Wage and Benefits Surveys, economic impact report and the GDAHA website.
Prior to joining GDAHA, Bryan spent five years with the Kettering Health Network in the decision support department. His primary role was that of a data analyst, providing ad hoc data and analysis for a number of KHN projects.
The son of an Air Force Captain, Bryan has lived throughout the country but has been in Dayton since 1987. After graduating from Beavercreek High School, Bryan studied Management Information Systems at the University of Dayton and completed his studies in 2000. He continued his education at UD, earning his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in 2002. His decision to go to UD may have been slightly influenced by the fact that he's had season tickets to UD Basketball since the late 1980s.
Outside of work, Bryan is involved in Habitat for Humanity and Southwestern Ohio Public Radio, a non-profit radio station serving the Huber Heights area. He currently resides in Miamisburg where he can be found on most weekends during the fall sitting on his couch watching football. On New Year's Eve 2007 he got married to his lovely wife Kathleen. Luckily she's a Bengals fan, so he hasn't had to give up his days of watching football...yet. He should soon have company on the couch as Joshua James Beer was born in September 2009.
